Las Vegas
Red Rocks has got to be my favorite winter bouldering spot. Avoid the crowds in Bishop, climb twice as long on happy sandstone instead of jagged granite, and its usually shorts weather in January. Also its the only place in Vegas I seem to have the right shoes for. The only downside is that the cholla cactus will not be your dogs friend though the areas in here are relatively cholla free.

This is part of my older bouldering guide and I have no plans to upgrade it as I don't get down their too often, and the Southern Nevada Bouldering Guide is really nice. I should also note that for this guide I only gave out 1 star for problems that are definitely worth doing.
